Huntington's Disease
Huntington's disease is a rare, inherited genetic condition that causes the progressive degeneration of nerve cells in the brain, leading to physical, cognitive, and psychiatric symptoms. It typically develops in a person’s 30s or 40s, though it can appear earlier or later. Over time, it severely impacts movement, thinking, and behavior, gradually reducing a person's ability to function independently.
